Since 1998, the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association’s annual conventions have included a session on Owen Barfield. The RMMLA’s Barfield sessions were initiated by the late Professor Raymond Tripp and scholars who had studied with him at the University of Denver. In 2007, the Owen Barfield Society was granted affiliate status with the RMMLA.
